Pledge Your Support of Internet Safety in SA

Safer Internet Day (SID) is celebrated in February each year to promote the safe and responsible use of online technology and mobile phones for children and young people across the world. Each year, South Africa joins over 100 countries on 6 continents in highlighting the creative things we all do online, as well as the responsibility we all have in helping to create a better internet.

We contribute by inviting everyone to engage in activities that include a chance to quiz yourself on making good decisions online, voting on a teen poll that helps us understand teens experiences or a parent poll that helps us understand parents needs. To get started, pledge your support of Internet Safety in SA by signing the statement below which is the undertaking by all Internet users to commit to “working together to ensure a safe online environment for all”.

The Internet Safety Pledge outlines the commitments and key principles that each individual will follow as a supporter of Internet Safety.
